Dr. Sikder graduated from NewYork College of Osteopathic Medicine , old westbury , New York in 2010. After 4 years of study at Medical school , he finished his residency in Family Medicine at Long Beach Hospital Center, New York in 2013. After finishing residency he worked at Iron County Medical medical Center , Missouri as hospitalist and held the position of chief of staff. Besides his private practice at McDonald office, he is also working as medical director of East New York Community Health clinic, a FQHC health center in NYC.He is associated with University Hospital of SUNY DOWN STATE HOSPITAL at Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Sikder has vast experience in medical field, Before immigrating to US he had another medical degree from overseas and worked as Medical officer in Sandip Hospital, Chittagong, Bangladesh for 2 years, and as ER physician in Isphahan, Iran for 10 years.Besides dedicated a physician.

Dr. Sikder is also a social activist and a notable writer,he is the author of two books (The Little house in Brooklyn, Ekattarer Sultan) publised in bengali.
